Nicole and Cooper have a conversation with Melanie Bunn, Nurse Practitioner and  national speaker and consultant to those wishing to have a more inclusive approach to dementia Care.  Together they envision how the health care system could better fit the needs of people with dementia. What if we stopped the philosophy of do “for” and changed our mindset to do “with”?  What if we redefined how we looked at family to go beyond our hyper focus of child rearing and then release of responsibilities once the kids are out of the house?  What if we stop looking at people with dementia as patients?
